The new Mazda CX-5 is set to make its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2011, giving motorists looking for Mazda deals an opportunity to get up close to the brand new vehicle.
Mazda's small crossover is the production version of the Minagi concept, which was unveiled at the recent Geneva Motor Show.
The new model will be the first production Mazda to boast the manufacturer's new Skyactiv lightweight strategy, efficient engine and transmission range.
Mazda claim that these modifications have helped cut 14 per cent weight from the chassis and eight per cent from the body.
The new lightweight CX-5 offers drivers greater fuel efficiency, with the new petrol engine 15 per cent more efficient that the 2.2-litre diesel currently being used.
Motorists looking for new Mazda deals will be able to get hold of the new CX-5 from April 2012, when it launches in the UK.
