Mercedes-Benz is set to reveal its new A-Class at a special event in Amsterdam next month.
The A-Class is already one of the automaker’s most popular cars, with more than 500,000 sold in Europe since its current generation launch.
Full details of the new version will go public on Friday 2nd February, but there is expected to be a substantial restyling of the model and improvements to fuel economy.
It is expected, like many other car makers, there will be an eco-friendly and possibly electric version available.
Mercedes has already released EV versions of its C-Class and E-Class, so it may be likely a plug-in hybrid powertrain will be an option for the popular A-Class hatchback.
