Motability Supplier Awards commendation for Ford

A Motability Supplier Awards commendation has been received by Ford as recognition of its performance and excellence.

The carmaker is one of the biggest suppliers of vehicles to the Motability Scheme – which helps more than 600,000 disabled people and their families – and the award illustrates the great customer service given by the manufacturer.

Mike Betts, chief executive of Motability Operations, explained Ford has offered a range of affordable models for the scheme, as well as boasting a successful dealer network.

Petra Hynds, Motability manager at Ford, noted last year saw the brand handling more Motability customers than any other firm.

She stated: "We are very pleased to receive this commendation and we are looking forward to another excellent performance in 2012."

It was noted that the Ford Focus was the most popular vehicle on the scheme in 2011, while the Ford Easy Access Door System on the Ford B-Max should mean the newer model is increasingly favoured this year.
