New Ford deals chosen by Lions of Bath

New Ford deals have been selected for the transport of lion sculptures in Bath.

Around 100 life-size models of lions will be transported around the city to various locations as part of its promotion as a World Heritage city in a Ford Transit van.

Event organiser Megan Witty stated that the Ford Transit is perfect for the job.

She said: "We really needed a large, long wheelbase vehicle to be able to carry around as many lions as we can – with 100 in the pride the logistics can be difficult."

Allen Ford’s business sales executive Gary Milkins described the cause as "cracking".

The lions will be designed by notable people such as Sir Peter Blake, Lord Bath and Winter Olympics gold medallist Amy Williams and can be spotted around the streets of Bath all summer.

New Ford deals have also recently been chosen for the AA AutoWindshields fleet, with an order for almost 250 Ford Transit vans being placed as a result.
