Families may be tempted to compare new Ford deals after the carmaker showcased two of its upgraded vehicles to users of the online community Mumsnet.
As part of the manufacturer’s partnership with Mumsnet, eight families were given the chance to check out Ford’s new S-Max and Ford Galaxy range.
Co-founder of Mumsnet Carrie Longton said many mums now take care of the decision of what new Ford deals to choose.
She said: "Mumsnetters have been queuing up to take part in the test drives."
One parent who tested the vehicles later posted on the Mumsnet site that the Ford Galaxy is now the people carrier to beat for other carmakers.
Family features of the new Galaxy and S-Max range include the steering wheel-mounted controls for the air conditioning, audio and bonded phones.
Recently released sales figures reveal that new Ford deals are continuing to be popular, with the Ford Fiesta and the Ford Focus in first and second place in sales for 2010 so far.
