New Ford Fiesta deals announced

New Ford Fiesta deals have been unveiled by the carmaker, as part of an announcement that will see it drop the prices of various models.

With an average price reduction of 11 per cent across its range of vehicles, Ford stated that dealers will be delighted with the initiative.

New Ford Fiesta deals will now cost drivers less than £10,000 if they select the Studio version, while the new Ford Focus Zetec will be £15,545, with the prices changing on August 2nd 2010.

Nigel Sharp, managing director Ford of Britain, said: "The traditional way that the car industry has operated in the UK – with high recommended list price matched to high discounts – is causing confusion for consumers."

He explained that the new pricing system will be more transparent and allow motorists to see the true value of new Ford Fiesta deals.

Last month, Prince Charles paid a visit to the carmaker’s production facility in Bridgend to check out the new 1.6-litre Ford EcoBoost petrol engine.
