New Mazda deals ‘to attract company car drivers’

The launch of the upgraded Mazda6 model will persuade more company car drivers to select new Mazda deals, according to the manufacturer.

It stated that the new version of the vehicle, which is being released ahead of schedule to meet demand, will be even more popular among fleets in the coming months.

The carmaker has predicted that it will sell more than 10,500 of its Mazda6 models in the year leading up to April 2010.

Peter Allibon, fleet and remarketing director at Mazda UK, said: "I expect the upgraded Mazda6 to retain its fleet leadership position and the model to provide a springboard for further growth as it appeals to more company car drivers."

He added that this is due to the lower rates of depreciation enjoyed by those who take advantage of new Mazda deals, as well as its well-positioned list price.

More people could be persuaded to compare new Mazda deals after the Mazda6 won the prize for best estate car at the recent 2010 Fleet World Honours.
