Seat has revealed all the details of its latest version of the Ibiza Cupra hatchback.
Starting at £18,100, the new model is £800 cheaper than its
predecessor, but Seat believe they have made a number of improvements to
enhance
the driver experience.
A new 1.8-litre
engine has been added to the Ibiza Cupra range, the same block used in the Volkswagen Polo GTi, and it offers an additional 12 bhp over the older 1.4-litre
supercharged engine.
Seat's latest model for 2016 also includes a new six-speed manual gearbox, along with larger brakes and a special function to control dampers and steering.
All this means the new Ibiza Cupra is capable of 0 to 62 mph in 6.7 seconds.
Designers have also revamped the car's exterior with a sportier overall look, special 17-inch alloys and bumpers.
Inside there has been a number of adjustments, with a completely new instrument panel and infotainment system, racing seats and cruise control options.
