Top Gear selects new Kia cee’d deals

New Kia cee’d deals have been selected by the popular BBC TV programme Top Gear for a regular feature on the show.

Presenters Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond revealed that the Kia cee’d will be the vehicle driven by the "star in a reasonably-priced car" for the new series, which began on Sunday (June 27th 2010).

Each week, a celebrity will take the Kia cee’d for a spin around the Top Gear track.

New Kia cee’d deals were chosen specifically by the Stig, the anonymous figure who tests the speed of all the vehicles showcased on the programme.

"The cee’d has become a strong player in the mid-sized family car market," commented Stephen Kitson, communications director of Kia Motors UK.

"It should stand up well to anything the star guests can throw at it."

The car has already been tried out by Johnny Vaughan, Al Murray, Amy Williams and Louis Spence on the opening week of the new series.
