Toyota RAV4 offers safety updates

Toyota has updated its RAV4 SUV with a new safety kit and standard luxury options.

All models, apart from the entry-level RAV4 Active, will be available with a Safety Sense pack which provides a whole host of solutions for motorists.

The pack offers lane keep assist, road sign recognition and autonomous safety braking to help reduce the chances of a road traffic accident.

In addition, the majority of RAV4s will also come with satellite navigation as standard, complete with free map updates.

Toyota is also targeting business users with a new model – the Business Edition Plus – which makes use of a 2.0-litre D-4D diesel engine combined with front-wheel drive, costing from £26,980.

Those opting for the top-of-the-range Excel trim level will benefit from voice recognition and 3D mapping functions for the media-nav system, with prices starting at £29,850.
