UK welcomes Alfa Romeo Giulia

November will saw the launch of the Alfa Romeo Giulia in the UK and orders are already being taken.

Prices for the entry-level model will start at £29,180, while the top of the range Quadrifoglio will cost £59,000.

The rear-wheel Alfa will be available with four engines and five different trim levels, and could offer buyers an alternative to the BMW 3 Series and Audi A4.

There are a number of extras fitted, even at the base level, including Forward Collision Warning (FCW) with Autonomous Emergency Brake (AEB) and pedestrian recognition, Integrated Brake System (IBS), and Lane Departure Warning (LDW).

Alfa Romeo UK country manager Damien Dally believes the car will prove a big hit with the UK market.

He added: “It offers beautiful Italian styling and stunning performance, and so we’re delighted to see strong early interest in the car.”
