The England boss said he was delighted to receive his new Insignia and pointed out that Vauxhall is an organisation he has held in the “highest regard” throughout his footballing career.
“Vauxhall has been extremely supportive not only of the Football Association [FA] but of me personally and I am very grateful for their support,” he explained.
The manufacturer recently signed a deal with each of the Football Associations of the home nations to supply vehicles to the first team and all levels below.
Vauxhall managing director Duncan Aldred said the firm is delighted that the England boss has chosen to drive an Insignia.
“Shortly after announcing our partnership with the FA in January, we were approached by Fabio about the possibility of driving a Vauxhall,” he added.
The Insignia was recently crowned the European Car of the Year, underlining its qualities for people looking for Vauxhall deals.
