Vauxhall signs new driving school deal

Vauxhall has signed a new deal to provide vehicles to the second biggest driving school in the UK.

The carmaker has agreed to supply more than 1,000 motors a year to Red, which trains in excess of 100,000 would-be drivers each year and has a network of over 1,600 franchised instructors.

According to industry research, those who pass their test tend to have a great affinity for the motor they learn to drive in and often opt for the same model as their first purchase.

This suggests many individuals who pass with Red could soon be looking at the latest Vauxhall deals in order to get hold of a car they feel confident in.

Andy Mitchell, commercial director at Red, said he is delighted with the deal and is confident many people will choose a Vauxhall vehicle when they pass their test.

Mr Mitchell stated: "Our instructors have always been incredibly happy with the Corsas we offer with our full franchise and we know our pupils enjoy learning in them."
