The new Vauxhall VXR8 is coming back to the market with a heavily revised exterior and interior and a range of new technology, designed to appeal to drivers.
Vauxhall's new edition comes with a shockwave grille, LED daytime running lights and new wing-vents have altered the appearance of the front-end of the car.
The rear boasts a new superflow spoiler, LED tail lamps and twin exhaust tips that mimic the front grille shape.
For the first time on a VXR8, Vauxhall has added Magnetic Ride Control (MRC), a highly tuned suspension which adapts up to 1,000 times a second to the road conditions and driver input to provide a smooth and comfortable ride.
The vehicle also comes with launch control, which dictates the level of torque delivered to the rear wheels, providing maximum acceleration, according to surface conditions.
Powered by a fourth generation 6.2-litre LS3 unit, producing 431PS, the VXR8 can accelerate from 0-60mph in 4.9 seconds and hit a top speed of 155mph.
Vauxhall recently announced plans to price its Ampera below £30,000 to bring electric vehicles into mainstream UK motoring.
