Volkswagen will welcome in the New Year with a revamp of its most popular models.
The start of 2016 will see a number of changes to the maker’s Polo, Golf and Passat line-up, with the upgraded models available to order straight away.
One of the highlights of the range makeover is the new Polo Match, which will replace the existing SE trim option. It will be available in both three and five-door versions, with a number of engine and gearbox choices.
Cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, tinted rear windows and 15-inch Stratford alloy wheels will be fitted as standard – making the Polo Match cost £12,735 – £100 more than the previous SE model.
Volkswagen’s Golf line-up will now include a Golf GT Edition and a Golf R-Line Edition to replace the current GT trim level and the R-Line trim option.
The updated Golf GT Edition will feature 18-inch Durban alloy wheels and panoramic sunroof, while the Golf R-Line Edition will come with 18-inch Serron alloys wheels and a panoramic sunroof.
Finally, the Passat and Passat Estate range will benefit from a new SE Business trim level with buyers benefiting from standards such as electric folding mirrors, tinted rear windows and front fog lights.
