Volkswagen will reveal its latest version of the popular up! model at the forthcoming Geneva Motor Show.
The up! TSI will feature a new 90 PS turbo engine and offer buyers a sportier feel, as well as putting it on par with the first Golf GTI. Drivers can expect 0 to 62 mph in ten seconds and a top speed of 115 mph. In terms of fuel economy, VW claim 64.2 mpg and CO2 emissions of just 102g/km.
Designers have also restyled the car with the addition of new bumpers, LED daytime running lights and mirrors fitted with indicator lights.
There will be a choice of 13 different colours, as well as ten roof colour choices and ten variations of dashboard design.
In addition, the in-car technology has also been upgraded with a new phone radio system, smartphone integration and a new 300W sound system using BeatsAudio.
Prices are expected to start at £8,495 for the base model and the revamped up! will be on sale by the start of summer.
