The Audi A4 has picked up the “best for Big Miles” award at the BBC Top Gear Magazine’s Best Cars in the World special issue.
With a low drag coefficient, the A4 is available with a number of economical engines, including a 2.0-litre TDI that offers 72mpg and 99g/km CO2 output.
Audi designers also fitted a number of in-car tech to help benefit drivers on long hours, with the standard Audi Smartphone Interface linking to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as MMI Navigation and a Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system.
The Top Gear testers explained: “With the A4, Audi focused on the stuff most people care about: a quiet, comfy cabin, tech to make your jaw slacken and some genuine ride quality."
