Honda Accord features revealed

The 2016 Honda Accord is set to offer owners a range of new features to enhance their driving pleasure.

Honda has confirmed the latest model will be fitted with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Extremetech reports the Accord will be the first mass produced vehicle to come equipped with both options and could appeal to a wide range of buyers.

Each car will be fitted with a seven-inch touchscreen to allow motorists to interactive with the on-board systems.

Android Auto could ensure efficient navigation, with drivers able to select the best route options, while Apple CarPlay will provide access to music, emails on the go and allow voice calls to be made and received.

Additional options to be available on the Accord will include a special LaneWatch camera to increase road safety and increase driver awareness.

There will also be the standard Honda Sensing that makes use of a number of sensors to enable easy parking and alert to any possible dangers, as well as rain sensors to automatically switch on wipers and lights.
