Kia embraces technology

Kia has unveiled its updated Carens MPV and has enhanced the on-board technology available.

The seven-seater MPV has also had an exterior makeover with a new bumper design and updated headlamps.

Inside, the Carens has new seat material options, including a carbon-effect finish for the dash – an unusual choice for a family-friendly MPV.

Buyers can also opt for Kia’s new Eco Pack on the 114bhp 1.7-litre diesel engine, with a reduce emission level of 109g/km.

The technology has also been upgraded to include Kia’s latest infotainment system which works with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Initially launched in 1999, the Kia Carens is now in its third generation.
