Special edition Subaru Forester unveiled

Subaru has revealed a new special edition of its popular Forester SUV to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its Boxer engine.

The Special Edition be sold with a XC model’s 2.0-litre turbodiesel engine, capable of producing 145 bhp and offering 49.6 mpg. It also offers a zero to 60 mph time of 10.2 seconds.

The limited edition model will feature front, side and rear underguards, as well as wheelarch extensions and a cargo step panel.

Buyers will be able to opt for a Hunter Green Metallic Paint, while inside there will be brown leather seats and matching upholstery on the door and cabin panels. The Forester will also have a seven-inch touchscreen system and sat-nav as standard.

The Forester Special Edition will go on sale at the start of next month and the price for the petrol option starts at £29,995, with the diesel priced from £31,495.
