Volkswagen Golf offers added value

Volkswagen has announced the details of a new entry-level Golf which offers added value and extra equipment as standard.

Motorists looking in Golf deals may wish to check out the new Volkswagen Golf Twist.

The new Golf is available in three or five door guises and is fitted with a 1.4 litre petrol engine developing 80PS, channelled via a six speed manual transmission, offering a top speed of 107mph.

Fuel consumption is low as the Twist can do 44.1 miles per gallon of fuel with low CO2 emissions of 149g/km, offering customers great value for money.

Volkswagen has added £700 of additional equipment to the new Golf over the Golf S on which it was based.

Customers will receive 16 inch alloy wheels, an RCD 310 radio system with multimedia connectivity and a front centre armrest as standard.

A Volkswagen Passat BlueMotion recently broke the world record for the distance travelled on one tank of fuel, covering 1526.63 miles.
