Jaguar unveils the ultimate F-Pace – hot 542bhp SVR model due this summer

Jaguar has let its SVR performance division loose on the F-Pace SUV and the results will be available in UK showrooms this summer.

Priced from £74,835 on the road, the F-Pace SVR uses a supercharged five-litre V8 petrol engine, producing a power output of 542bhp and 680Nm of torque.

That represents a 44 per cent uplift in power and it’s enough wallop to get the F-Pace up to 62mph in 4.3 seconds with a top speed of 176mph.

With this kind of performance, the SUV has the right to brag a bit and it’ll peacock this newfound potent ability with unique front and rear bumpers, lower body sides and rear flip spoiler, as well as lightweight 21-inch forged wheels.

Other styling enhancements include larger air intakes at the front and sides, special wheel arch extensions and lower body mouldings.

Inside, the F-Pace SVR features slimline performance front seats, unique rear seats and the SVR-branded steering wheel with tactile aluminium paddle shifters.

A statement from Jaguar Land Rover read: “The F-Pace SVR delivers the handling and agility to match its performance.

“Everything from the steering to the bespoke suspension set-up has been tuned specifically for our performance SUV and the result is a vehicle that lives up to the promise of both the F-Pace and SVR names.”
