A special edition Land Rover Discovery Sport has gone on sale after it became the brand’s fastest-selling model ever.
With an on-the-road price of £40,400, the Landmark Edition Discovery Sport pulls together the best of the Discovery Sport range, with a unique colour and trim combination, as well as some suitably stylish flourishes.
Buyers can choose from three colours: narvik black, corris grey and yulong white, all of which are crowned with a carpathian grey contrast roof.
Riding on 19-inch ‘Style 521 Mantis’ wheels in gloss dark grey, the Landmark Edition differentiates itself from any regular Disco Sport by including a sporty and dynamic front bumper with graphite atlas exterior accents.
Inside, there are ebony grained leather seats and an ebony headliner, complemented by dark grey aluminium finishers around the centre stack, a panoramic roof, Meridian sound system and heated steering wheel.

Under the bonnet is Land Rover’s 1,999cc TD4 177bhp diesel Ingenium engine, linked to a nine-speed automatic gearbox with all-wheel-drive.
This four-pot unit can polish off a 0-62mph sprint in 9.9 seconds, with a top speed of 117mph. In terms of fuel economy, it boasts 43.5mpg combined with CO2 emissions of 172g/km.
Some 126,078 Discovery Sports were sold around the world in 2017, making it the best-selling Land Rover model in a single year in the past 70 years.
Additionally, the Disco Sport has racked up sales in excess of 350,000 globally since its introduction in 2014.
