Mazda CX-3 to launch GT Sport Nav+ this summer
Fans of Mazda's range of CX-3 of SUVs might have their heads turned by a newcomer this summer – because the brand is about to launch the GT Sport Nav+.
Based on the hugely popular Sport Nav+, this one-off vehicle will feature unique styling and bonus features all rolled together into one very desirable package. However, you might need to be quick if you're thinking of looking for new car deals on these – because the run is limited to just 500 cars.
Under the bonnet, buyers will find a 2.0-litre 121ps Skyactiv-G engine matched to two-wheel drive that offers a choice of six-speed manual or automatic transmission.
The vehicle certainly doesn't disappoint in the design stakes, either. In fact, it's this that ensures the GT Sport Nav+ really comes into its own, thanks to a choice of Jet Black Mica, Ceramic Metallic or Soul Red Crystal Metallic paintwork, all topped off with a matt silver finish on the lower front and rear bumpers and on the door mirror covers.
There's also a luxury feel inside, with Red Nappa leather seats and white inserts, soft touch door panels and power adjustment that also has a memory function for the driver's seat (meaning you car will remember exactly how you like to sit when you're behind the wheel).
Mazda Motors UK's Jeremy Thomson said the brand was keen to add to the premium quality and style of the Sport Nav+ and other CX-3s it has already been producing.
"The launch of the GT Sport Nav+ adds a standout special edition model, which brings the generous equipment, distinctive looks and enhanced value that discerning crossover buyers are looking for," he added.
The updated CX-3 was only launched last summer, but customers have looked favourably upon plenty of technological and interior improvements, including a revised grille and darker side pillar that enhanced the profile of the sporty little SUV.
Drivers have also benefited from enhanced handling and improved ride comfort thanks to new coil springs and dampers.
