Citroen deal given top safety rating

Leading car manufacturer Citroen is celebrating after the C4 was given a five-star safety rating by assessors.

In news which may interest those considering Citroen deals, the C4 has been given top marks by Euro NCAP, which suggests that safety conscious drivers could benefit when the vehicle goes on sale in 2011.

Citroen has also revealed that the C4 gained a score of 97 per cent in the safety assist category of testing, which is the highest rating for any vehicle of its type.

Discussing the range of safety features included on the vehicle, Citroen name-checked the ABS with electronic brake distribution, as well as emergency braking assistance and the electronic stability programme.

It will also feature a blind spot-monitoring system, as well as a function designed to improve visibility on bends.

Praise for the Citroen C4 has come after the manufacturer confirmed the launch of a special offer for motorists ordering a Citroen C3 over the August Bank Holiday.

Consumers who take up the deals will be rewarded with a gift card.
