Company chooses new Citroen deals

New Citroen deals have been chosen by Central Auto Supplies (CAS) to improve the fuel efficiency of its fleet of vehicles.

The company has ordered two Relay 35 L3H2 120 vans and more than 40 Nemo 1.4HDi LX vehicles to lower its carbon emissions.

Operations manager at CAS Peter Jipson stated that the order of the new Citroen deals shows how committed the firm is to helping the environment.

He said: "We are delighted with the Nemo’s 60+mpg fuel economy capability on our multi-drop delivery pattern and its low cost of operation."

Mr Jipson added that the drivers of the vehicles will also be set to benefit from high levels of safety and comfort.

The Nemos will be optimised with rear glazed doors and will also be upgraded to include remote locking, a loading door located on the side of the vehicle and a steering column and driver’s seat which is fully-adjustable.

The manufacturer recently announced that it is to showcase its new Citroen C3 deals at the upcoming Mobility Roadshow 2010, along with upgraded versions of its Citroen DS3 DSport and the Citroen Nemo Multispace.
