Diesel engines for new Vauxhall deals

Motorists who want the choice between a diesel and a petrol engine may be more tempted to compare new Vauxhall deals.

This is because the manufacturer has added diesel engines to its Meriva range, offering drivers the opportunity to select what type of engine they have in their new car.

“With its unique rear-hinged back doors (FlexDoors), FlexSpace seating and FlexRail storage systems the new Vauxhall Meriva has raised the bar in its class for accessibility, versatility and in-car stowage,” said the carmaker.

The new 1.7-litre CDTi (130PS) diesel engine was particularly singled out for praise by Vauxhall, which stated that it offers drivers all the economical benefits they expect from a modern diesel vehicle.

This news comes shortly after the manufacturer said it was dropping the cost of new Vauxhall deals across its range of various models for a limited time only.

New Vauxhall Corsa deals will be some of those to be offered to UK drivers in particular, with the list price reduced significantly on the car.
