Further details revealed on Vauxhall Astra VXR

New details have been released about the potential features that will be included with the upcoming Vauxhall Astra VXR.

According to AutoExpress.co.uk, a version of the new model, featuring 19-inch rims and tyres designed exclusively by Continental, was spotted leaving the Nurburgring in Germany recently.

Set to be launched to the public in late 2011, the car also includes a new wheel design to ensure that the brakes are able to cope with its power, as well as a limited-slip diff and a version of the Insignia VXR's HyPerStrut system.

It is expected that Vauxhall will release more details about the new model from next month, when the concept is showcased at the Paris Motor Show.

Another car manufacturer set to preview its latest designs at the motoring event in Kia, which is planning to unveil its new Pop car.

The model is an all-new electric concept city vehicle.
