Kia Magentis to come to Britain next year

Drivers looking for Kia deals may be drawn towards the upcoming Kia Magentis.

The vehicle, which was unveiled at this year’s New York International Auto Show, is to be rolled out in the UK next year.

According to Peter Schreyer, chief design officer at Kia, the new model should surprise a lot of people.

"It’s a car that people will simply not expect from Kia," he commented.

"And that’s exactly what we set out to achieve."

Mr Schreyer said the saloon will be a "global car with individual appeal" and a vehicle that embodies the company’s "confident" new design direction.

Kia has hailed the Magentis for offering a number of attractive features, including an athletic appearance, lots of interior space and class-leading luxury and safety equipment.

The car has been designed with European motorists in mind and was therefore partly developed by specialists in Germany.

This comes shortly after Kia unveiled its new Sportage, which it described as a fuel-efficient and urban-friendly compact SUV.
