A lottery winner has spent a proportion of his winnings on new Ford deals.
National Lottery winner Neil Dexter – who scooped a prize of more than £3.6 million – purchased a Transit Connect van and a Ranger Double Cab following his win.
“I’m a Yorkshireman, so I don’t go rushing out and buying things,” explained the lucky businessman.
“I had it in mind to buy the Connect before my win, but the lottery has helped make it a reality.”
Mr Dexter is the owner of bicycle retailer Wheelies Cycle Care and will use the new Ford deals in his day-to-day managing of the business.
York Ford dealer Stoneacre explained that the lottery winner has been a loyal customer of Ford’s for many years and said staff at the dealership are delighted for him.
Recently released sales figures show that new Ford deals are still more popular in the UK than models produced by any other manufacturer.
