Motorists will be able to catch a glimpse of the Ford Focus deals of the future at the upcoming Paris Motor Show.

Ford has confirmed plans to put a new version of the popular model "centre stage" at the leading industry event, which takes place between October 2nd and 17th.

As a precursor to the show, Ford is set to hold an on-stand news conference on September 30th, where the company's chairman of Europe will outline news of production-ready five-door and estate derivatives.

Details of a new performance model will also be confirmed, while information on the One Ford strategy which is underpinning production in the US and Europe will also be released.

Ford of Britain managing director Nigel Sharp is also set to reveal details about the new C-Max, which is launching in autumn.

News of Ford's plans for the Paris Motor Show has come after Ford confirmed more details about the Mondeo Sport special edition, which will go on sale next month.
