New Kia deals remain popular

New Kia deals are remaining a popular choice among motorists in Britain, according to new sales figures released by the carmaker.

Kia stated that sales of its models in the UK increased by 136 per cent in April 2010, compared to the same month in the previous year.

It sold more than 5,000 cars throughout the UK during the month.

Yaser Shabsogh, sales director at the manufacturer, said the figures show that Kia deals are becoming a popular selection among drivers in Britain.

He said: "There is no uncertainty in the way retail buyers have decided to spend their hard-earned money – even if things are not so clear-cut on the political front."

It is expected that new Kia deals will help the manufacturer to break its record for its most successful year again in 2010, as it is already almost halfway to last year’s total.

Kia also had a successful March, recording its best ever month of sales in the UK, as the government’s car scrappage scheme came to an end.
