Motorists who are considering Ford deals may be interested in the details that have emerged on the new-look Mondeo.
The manufacturer has described the car as "the most stylish and technologically advanced" of its kind, with changes made to both the interior and exterior, as well as the introduction of a new version of the EcoBoost 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine.
Ford expects the new Mondeo to go on sale at dealerships across the UK through September and October.
Stephen Odell, chairman and chief executive officer of Ford of Europe, said the model "completes the very comprehensive update" undertaken on the company's "flagship" large cars.
He added: "New designs, powertrains and technologies deliver greater driving pleasure and lower carbon emissions, as well as a more premium feel and even more comfort and safety."
Details of the new Mondeo have come after Ford confirmed that it is to showcase its new Focus at the upcoming Paris Motor Show.
