New Vauxhall deal set to launch in the UK

Motorists in the UK will be able to check out some new Vauxhall Astra deals later this month when the Sports Tourer model is launched.

Built at the company’s Ellesmere Port plant, the new car is set to be initially available in the 1.4 (100PS) ES model, which is able to gain an extra 10PS of power over the equivalent 1.4 Astra Estate.

In addition, the Vauxhall Astra Sports Tourer will include air conditioning, curtain airbags, electronic stability control, electronic parking brake and active safety front head restraints as standard.

A five-door hatch model will also be made available and will allow drivers to enjoy a larger cargo area despite having the same wheelbase as the new hatch.

Details of the new vehicle have come after Vauxhall recently received the royal seal of approval from Prince Michael of Kent.

He drove the company’s Ampera model, which is an all-electric car, at Kensington Palace recently.
