New Vauxhall deals were more popular than any other manufacturer’s offers during June 2010, according to newly-released sales figures.
The carmaker sold more than 30,000 vehicles throughout the month, statistics from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders show.
New Vauxhall Astra deals were particularly successful over the period, with almost 15,000 sales across the range of models in 2010 so far.
“This is great news for us,” said Duncan Aldred, Vauxhall’s managing director.
“The new Astra, for example, is perceived as a premium product in its segment, but one that still offers great value for money.”
However, it was not just the Vauxhall Astra which showed strong sales figures during the year, with the Vauxhall Zafira racking up 15,392 sales since January, which makes it the market leader in the compact MPV market.
Caravan holiday fans may be tempted to compare new Vauxhall Astra deals after the model won the 2010 Towcar Award at a recent award ceremony organised by the Camping and Caravanning Club.
