Prince Charles checks out new Ford deals

New Ford deals have been investigated by Prince Charles, who has paid a visit to the carmaker’s production factory in Wales.

The Prince of Wales was in Bridgend to show his support for the manufacturer’s new 1.6-litre Ford EcoBoost petrol engines.

Joe Greenwell, Ford of Britain chairman, stated that the company was delighted to welcome Prince Charles to the site as part of the plant’s 30th birthday celebrations.

He said: "The new Ford EcoBoost petrol engines from Bridgend are providing Ford vehicles with a combination of lower emissions and improved fuel economy and performance."

Mr Greenwell added that the new Ford deals in which the engines are included will help to meet the future needs of both the environment and the carmaker’s customers.

As part of his visit, the Prince of Wales was given a look at the new Ford S-Max, which features the advanced 2.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engine.

New Ford deals were recently selected by Hertz to transport tennis stars to and from the prestigious Wimbledon tournament.
