Volkswagen’s exclusive multimedia system designed by Kenwood

Motorists looking for Volkswagen deals may be interested to know that the manufacturer has signed a deal with Kenwood to produce the car's multimedia system.

Kenwood has manufactured a brand new multimedia system which will only be available in cars in the Volkswagen group.

The system has a built in, easy to use, Garmin satnav system which covers the whole of Europe relays life traffic information and includes a seven digit postcode search feature.

Parrot bluetooth technology allows the driver to view their phonebook on the car's seven inch wide screen making using the phone in the car a truly hands free experience.

The system can link seamlessly with an iPhone or iPod using the touch screen as the menu making choosing driving music a very simple process.

Kenwood entered the car electronics market in 1980 and is now one of the leading manufacturers of in car entertainment.

Ford recently revealed its new Mirrornavi system which integrates with the rear view mirror.
